Dough

3 Cups Bread Flour

1/3 Cup Melted Butter

¼ Cup Sugar

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Grated Lemon Peel

Sourdough Starter

½ Cup Water

½ Cup Milk (any kind)

1 Egg slightly beaten

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Add’l Bread Flour for kneading

1/3 Cup Dried Apricots chopped

1/3 Cup Sweetened Dried Cranberries

Filling

¾ tsp Cardamom or substitute (see below)

1/3 Cup Melted Butter

¾ Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Tbs Cinnamon

Cardamom Substitute:

½ tsp Freshly grated Nutmeg

½ tsp Cinnamon (to mix in with Nutmeg)
